Balenciaga Florabotanica

Bildiğiniz üzere (bilmiyorsanız da şimdi öğrenmiş olacaksınız), Sephora'da 11-26 Ocak tarihleri arasında indirim var. Geçen hafta aldığım indirim maili sonucu alışverişe çıktığımda ilk durağım Sephora oldu. Fakat, geçen senelerde olduğu gibi Sephora indiriminden yine faydalanamadım. Benefit'in belli ürünlerinde indirim vardı ve hiçbiri istediğim ürünler arasında değildi. Fırçalarda deseniz indirim yok. Too Faced'in ise sadece lip glossları kalmıştı gittiğim mağazada. Aslında indirimden almak istediğim ürün Ciaté'nin "Mini Mani Month" oje setiydi, fakat o da tükenmişti. Hal böyle olunca parfüm bölümüne yöneldim. Geçtiğimiz yazdan beri, kokusuna hayran olduğum Balenciaga Paris'i kullanıyorum. Artık, bitmeye yakın olduğu için yeni bir parfüm almayı düşünüyordum. Her ne kadar Balenciaga Paris'i çok sevsem ve ileride mutlaka yeniden almayı düşünsem de değişik kokular denemeyi seviyorum. Parfüm bölümüne geldiğimde diğer markalara hiç bakmadan yine Balenciaga'nın başında buldum kendimi. Ne bilmiyorum ama Balenciaga'da kesinlikle beni çeken bir şey var. İlk kullandığım parfüm Balenciaga Cristobal'di. Araya başka markalar girdi ama şu anda azimle Balenciaga'nın yolundan ilerliyorum. Florabotanica'nın kokusunu merak ediyordum ve ilk denediğimde "bunu alıyorum!" dedim. 50 ml'lik parfüm ve vücut losyonundan oluşan kofreyi görünce hemen kaptım!

As you may know there is a sale going on Sephora between the 11th-26th of January. Last week I got the mail announcing the sale and when I went shopping my first stop was Sephora. But, as it happened in the previous years, I couldn't find anything that I like. For Benefit, the sale is on selected items and I wasn't interested in none of them. Brushes are not on sale. There were only a few left Too Faced products which were some lip glosses and bronzers. Actually, what I wanted to get from the sale was "Mini Mani Month" nail polish set by Ciaté. Unfortunately, it was sold out. That being the case, I headed to the perfume section. Since last summer I've been wearing my all time favourite perfume Balenciaga Paris. It's so close to run out, that's why I wanted to buy a new perfume. At the perfume section, I found myself looking at Balenciaga perfumes. I don't know why but, there is something that attracts me to Balenciaga. My first perfume was Cristobal Balenciaga. Then I used some other brands' perfumes and now I'm back with Balenciaga again. I had seen a lot of commercials of the new Balenciaga perfume called Florabotanica and had wanted to try it on. When I first sprayed it on, I said "I'm going to buy this". There was a gift set including a 1.7 oz eau de perfume and body lotion and I snatched it immediately!

Tam bir koku hastasıyım ama kokuları tarif etmekte biraz başarısızım. Hele Florabotanica'yı tarif etmek gerçekten çok zor. İlk sıktığınızda hiçbir yere konduramıyorsunuz. Notalarında gül bulunuyor, fakat ben gül kokusunu neredeyse hiç duymuyorum. Çiçeksi ve ferah bir kokusu var. Çok hafif pudra kokusu aldığım için bazen Chloe'ye benzetiyorum. Yalnız, Chloe'ye göre daha keskin ve cesur bir koku. Parfümün tarzı, çekici ve tehlikeli olarak tanımlanmış. Ben ise erkeksi, sofistike ve modern olarak tanımlardım.  Parfümün kalıcılığı ise inanılmaz. Çok az bir miktar sıksanız bile tüm gün etkisi sürüyor. Kullandığım parfümler içinde kalıcılık konusunda en iyi parfüm diyebilirim.

I'm a perfume addict but, I have difficulty in describing scents. Especially, Florabotanica is very hard to describe. When you first smell it, you just can't tell what it is. There is rose in its notes but, I hardly smell any rose. It has a floral and fresh smell definitely. There is a little powdery smell of it that makes me resemble it to Chloe. However, Florabotanica has a bolder and sharper smell. Its style is defined as beautiful, dangerous and rar. I can define it as masculine, sophisticated and modern.Maybe I also can use "rare" as a bonus one. 

Florabotanica is the most long-lasting perfume I've ever used. Even if I spray a little bit on my wrists, I can smell it all day long.

Parfümün şişesi ise başlı başına bir sanat eseri. Sade ama şık bir tasarımı var. Zaten, Balenciaga bu konuda parfüm severleri hiçbir zaman hayal kırıklığına uğratmıyor.

The bottle is a pice of art on its own. It has such a simple, yet elegant design. Well, Balenciaga never disappoints the perfume lovers when it comes to design. 

 

Florabotanica, çiçeksi bir koku olmasına rağmen kış mevsimine çok yakışan bir parfüm. Bu tarz kokulardan hoşlanıyorsanız denemenizi tavsiye ederim:)

Although it's a floral scent, Florabotanica suits well to the winter season. If you like this kind of scent or even if you don't like, I highly recommend you to give it a sniff:)
